Chocolaty Peanut Butter Cookies

  • 2 Cups Peanut butter (Creamy or chunky)
  • 2 Cups Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 Teaspoons Vanilla Extract
  • 4 Tablespoons Chocolate Syrup or Hot Fudge
    Cooking spray
Preheat oven to 350 degree F.  Spray cookie sheet with cooking spray.
In a large bowl combine the peanut butter, sugar, egg and vanilla extract. Mix with a large spoon. For each cookie, scoop out a tablespoon of dough and roll into balls.  Place balls 1 ½ apart. Press each ball with a fork making a crisscross design.  Bake for 7-12mins checking after 5mins to gauge what the final time should be.   If using hot fudge spread on top of cookies 2mins after they have came out of the oven.  If using chocolate syrup let them cool down for 5mins before pouring syrup on to of cookies.

This recipe is fun to make with the kids.  They can mix the dough, roll the dough into balls, press with a fork and put the final topping on the cookies.  Enjoy this chocolaty cookie with a glass of milk or ice cream for the ultimate treat.  Yields ~34 cookies
