Apple sauce instead of Oil

So I was watching TV, one of the food channels, and it was suggested that you use apple sauce instead of oil in your bake goods.  I didn't think it would be nearly as good. My daughter and I cooked brownies last night for me to take to work from a box mix.  Instead of the oil it asked for we used apple sauce.  They came out amazing!!!!!  My husband ask her if he could have one  "no daddy these are for work" is what she said.  LOL kids are too funny.
